Annie
Lucy co-produced and starred in the Middle East Premiere of
'Annie' at the First Group Theatre, Dubai. Lucy played Grace
Farrell, Warbucks dedicated private secretary... The National
said: Lucy Hunter James played Warbucks glamorous assistant
Grace Farrell as a hybrid of Florence Nightingale and Ginger
Rogers. It was the kind of quietly assured supporting performance
that musical theatre depends upon.

Sell Out Success - I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change!
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! was a sell out success
at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London and the Madinat Theatre,
Dubai. Lucy's performance was as ever well received:
"The cast of four can all sing and time
a gag. Lucy Hunter-James provides an emotional centre, bringing
a sweet vulnerability to the ballad 'I Will Be Loved Tonight'
and the mockingly ecstatic 'He Called Me' " -
Time Out
"The casting of this production is excellent as four extremely
talented singers and actors are put through their paces, creating
more than fifty characters. Lucy Hunter-James captivates the
audience with her rendition of I Will Be Loved Tonight"
- The Stage
"The best of the singing is provided by John Payton and
Lucy Hunter-James, the latter having a strong and very attractive
voice that is put to good use" - British Theatre
Guide
"Lucy Hunter-James shows her comic finesse in 'I Will
Be Loved Tonight'. This is a great feel-good show by a quartet
of highly-talented performers who never put a foot, word or
note wrong and are having just as much fun as the audience:
well worth five of anybody's stars."
